I have a 180gal with two ocelleris , one spot fix face, one tomini tang and one lawnmower blenny. Everyone is super cool but the tomini darts after the lawnmower blenny. Has anyone observed this behavior?

My first kole tang went after my tail spot blenny and this one now goes after my clowns and my bicolor blenny. They were added 2 weeks ago so I’m hoping it gets better.

He did the same with baby my pajama cardinal at first but it seems better now. These fish tend to be territorial.

it’s guarding its food: algae. i am having a similar issue where my tomini would follow my midas blenny around and if the blenny would nip at algae the tang would dart at it. but that’s the extent of it for me

Thanks for chiming in! It’s weird to me because the tomini was incredibly shy when I put him in. I didn’t see him for about two weeks. When I added the fox face about two weeks later the tomini gave him static but now they are best buds. Didn’t thing tangs even cared about blennys
