too many fish in 225 gallon reef?

My tank is 60" x 36" x 24" tall.. i have a 75 gallon sump that has about 50 gallons of water so about 275 gallon total water volume. i am running a protein skimmer and a clear water cw200 algae scrubber

fish stock is:

18 green reef chromis
2 yellow tangs
1 kole tang
1 naso tang
2 clowns
1 scopas tang.

too many fish for a mixed reef?

Assuming you are handling nutrient export which should be fine with a good skimmer and algal turf scrubber, I think that's a pretty light bioload for that size system. However, I tend to prefer high bioload systems because I really like lots of movement and I think with good export, your corals benefit from a high bioload due to availability of nitrogen precursors in fish poop. Jmo

Nah, that is not too many. Especially if that algae scrubber is well set up. Cromis hardly even count towards bioload.

Show us a pic though. It sounds like that would be a good look.
