Still having issues tuning both Alk and Ca in perfectly but here’s some graphs. The hurricane really messed things up.

I do wonder if the Red Sea Mature kit kicked all this off last year. I’m sure their Coraline Gro got this all started but I haven’t used it since the cycle last year.

I agree, this looks like cyano and not coraline. It wouldn’t cover your sand like that.
I have some larger pebbles on my gravel bed to stop the sand blowing around in areas and they are completely covered in coraline and looks exactly like the OP's. Not cyano.... Heck , my fighting Conchs, snails...all have Coraline on them! I keep the back panel of the tank scraped clean where I can reach it otherwise it would be completely purple. My rocks are all completely covered as well....some tanks just grow that stuff really well ...I laugh when I read posts about people not being able to grow any in their tanks...I've even offered to send scrapings in seawater to people to help get them seeded....I've heard that lower lit tanks grow it better but I have 5 GHL 7206 Mitras over my tank and the Coraline does exceedingly well!!

That first photo with the fresh rocks definitely looks like cyano, sorry. Blue photos from far away can only give off a guess after all. CLEARLY it’s not as he posted a better photo. :)

I don’t grow much and I’m happy about that. Just makes for more work at cleaning the big thing.

I’m using the new Maxspect R5X and pushing about 300par atm at the top of the rocks. That’s also why I’m head scratching why I still have so much coralline. On the sand bed I’d say I’m at about 160-180par. I have to retake readings since I’ve upped my par a little but not much more then that previous pic I showed.

scrap it and give it to others that are staring new tanks to seed them. I know it will not solve your "issue" but it might make you feel better about it. to be honest I like it more that before the hurricane pic . maybe that just me tho. I know to much can be a pain.

maybe slow down on the red sea recipe and/or add 5X the frags to have in there??

That's not coraline algae...my guess is you have some of that purple real reef rock, which bleeds snd spreads on whatever it touches...your water is diluted with it now

I am curious about your calcium and calcium consumption.

There is always the urchin option though. I had a few and they mowed it down quickly. They will knock down any coral that is not fastened well and when out of food will need to be rehomed.
Also the rocks need to be attached to each other with epoxy

I had a population explosion of limpets a while back and they've done an amazing job at keeping the coralline at bay

If you get the chunks out of your sand, some conchs and cucumbers can keep it clean. I love me some Pin Cushions from the Florida keys - I get my conchs and cucumbers from there too.

Actually no, half the rock is live Fiji rock from years back and the new stuff is BRS Reef Saver rock. The only Real Reef Rock is the the rock mount for my PMK sitting up on the top rock. Real Reef Rock is not even real coralline.

I’ve got a Strawberry Conch and a few Nass. Snails in there. They don’t seem to do much.
