Hi everyone! Our 58g oceanic has finally cycled and now its time to put our Chromis, that have been through the TTM, in.
We have a maxspect xf230 running at top of tank in the OGC mode set at 40% max.
I think this maybe too much flow. The Chromis seem to struggle constantly, this morning they
were hiding in areas of least flow. When we turn off Gyre they swim freely around.
My best guess is if the Gyre max is 2300g/hr then 40% is 920 is this too much?

It can be when they aren't used to it, just like anything in reefing. I had some reef chromis that hated when i turned on my WAV's, but now they like it. Turn it down for now and see how they react, then slowly turn it back up.
