That ph number also doesn’t seem right but I wouldn’t suspect that’s your issue either. How have u been battling nitrates? Sometimes swings from gfos can cause issues
We have done a couple large water changes, added Chaeto to the sump with light, which is growing, finally added some white pellets of some sort I forget what they were called. and one last thing dosed Magnesium a little higher as someone told the owner at a conference that that worked for them. Oh we also did a Flux RX routine and then water change. I also have been feeding every other day instead of every day for fish.

PH 7.7 (low) (Hannah)
Alkalinity 7.28DKH (low) (Hannah)
Phosphate .20 (high) (hannah)
Nitrates 25 (We have been battling this for awhile now) (Hannah, Salifert)
Magnesium 1350ppm (Salifert)
Amonia 0 (Hannah)
Nitrite 0 (Hannah)
Calcium 580 (Hannah)
Those are values from you testing. Get the values and history from your maintenance guys logs

Stability is key. Your Nutrients aren’t high enough that small water changes would be just fine. If using gfo I suggest using super small amounts.

Also water changes stabilize your other parameters. Again i try to avoid gfo or chemicals if i can

actually huge water change,
How far after this water change did things go south? Could be something in your water. Bad filters. Which also can cause nutrient swings. Or possibly the water replaced was so far off from what it was at it stressed it out
