Hey everyone!

I recently had a torch decay in a matter of hours. The torch had a super healthy flesh band and was thriving! I dipped it in revive coral cleaner because it was excreting brown good (potentially brown jelly?) and after dipping it excreted a thick sticky white good and many of the tenacles turned black. Any suggestions on how to save it?

My tank is about 1 year old.

Parameters:
Salinity: 1.025
Phosphate: 0.1 ppm
Nitrates: 5 ppm
Calcium: 410
Magnesium: 1200
Temp: 78

What did you mix the revive in? Looks like it was freshwater dipped.

Excreting brown goo? From the mouth? BJD attacks the coral from the edges first.

I used a liter of water from the tank and mixed the appropriate amount of revive. The goo seemed to be coming from the mouth. It seems to be doing better today after dipping and placing in higher flow.

Brown goo can be the coral expelling uneaten food, do you target feed at all?
