When brining in new coral I typically dip in Bayer. Do you also dip LPS?

Many people do.

I bought a Aussie Gold Torch and spent more than I normally do on it. It’s my first LPS and keep all SPS that’s why I ask. I would hate to dip it and kill it.

I would just visually check for critters like flat worms and not dip. I never risk it especially with the gold torch. Not only are they getting hard to find and very expensive but one of the more sensitive torches.

I would never dip a gold torch, lol. It’s 50/50 with cheaper euphilla if they will live.

I have dipped all of my LPS, including torches, in coral RX

Have one that I've even dipped multiple times to treat flat worms. Never an issue

I have dipped aussie gold, dragon soul and holy grail torches with bayers, with no problems.

I used Revive at 75% strength for torches.

It's not worth not dipping. You're just asking for it if you don't. I dip everything in coral rx.
