Just went to check out my tank and noticed something weird going on with my torch. The tentacles have stiffened up and it seems to be releasing eggs maybe? I can also see the mouths open on each head. My damsel and royal gamma are eating them as they release. Please help!

That’s awesome and does look like spawning. Has anything changed recently? How long have you had that torch?

I had a torch spawn once and it’s still doing great.

I’ve had it for about 10 months now. It’s split into three heads from one head since I got it. I’d say it’s been one of my more resilient corals and has been through all kinds of stuff including parameter swings, cyano, and Dino’s. It’s doing good now and seems unaffected from the spawn. I hope some baby torches pop up! Hopefully the fish didn’t eat everyone of them!
