Torch help

My HG torch keep doing this. Few months ago one head detached itself and grew into a new torch. The main head is attached really well to the skeleton it’s the new heads that’s doing this. Can I take a exacto knife and cut the unattached head off?

I have had him for 8 months, yes there is small skeleton under the detached head.

Is there tissue between the heads? If so, i would just leave it alone. Any particular reason you want to cut it?

YEs there is tissue between the head. I did not want it to be hanging from the big skeleton,

I would not cut it as i would be nervous about it not surviving and what effect cutting it would have on the main head.
