I recently added this torch into my tank about 4 days ago. I'm assuming it's just pooping, but just wanted to make sure. It's coming out of the mouth. Tank is 3 months old. Thanks for helping

It is pooping but has it ever opened up at all? Also, are you phosphates exactly zero? What tester are you using for it?

Yeah it's always opened. Just retracted during pooping. Here's a pic of it in the morning. Phosphates are hovering from 0 to .05. Haven't tested in a while and I use salifert.

Does raising salinity help growth?

I don't think it helps with growth. but it is the recommended salinity for a reef tank.

What's the flow around the Torch? Does the waste just hang on? You should have enough flow that all waste is removed with the current.

Flow is medium. Everything came off an hour or two later and it opened up in the morning. Not deflated anymore. Thanks for all the help
