Hi guys I just got this torch about a week ago and it’s not looking so great. I was wondering if there is brown jelly or not and if so how to deal with it.

If it has brown jelly coming out of it need to cut the head off.

What are all of your current parameters and age of the tank?

Also any more LPS in the tank?

No, it will not spread to mushrooms. That head is gone either way, I would try saving the other one. If you lightly blow at it with a baster and brown stuff comes out you know. Also if the smell is horrible on the dead head.

Err, do you have any other euphyllia in your tank? Brown jelly is highly contagious and I would not blow off anything inside the tank. If anything, put it into another container to do any blowing off...
