Need help trying to ID these torches. I’ve gotten several different names by friends and fam, but most seem to have a different opinion beside D (neon green) but you never know. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

B looks like a POTO Hulk torch. D looks like a "flashlight". E appears to be a normal green torch. A and C are normally just called yellow tip torches

Yeah Ive seen several of the green with yellow tip torches around. POTO is just the first one I thought of that had a real name associated with it. My Hulk from them had yellow tips on arrival but now its got really light yellow-green tips.

If you didnt purchase them with breeding papers then you cant ever 100% say if they're gods gift torches, magnificent greens, or any other $1000/head torch.

Luckily the care for a torch is basically the same across all lineages. Enjoy what you have and make up your own name to call them whatever you like.

The minute you call them whatever you want, someone throws their two cents in and tries to correct you. Which is why I’m asking. Imagine me asking my lfs’s for breeding papers lol.

Bought a few these yellow, red and green mushrooms that were considered trash in the hobby almost 20yrs ago for $5 each at some tiny pet shop down on delancey. Some years later, someone called them jawbreakers and I had over 60 of them by then lol.

I was being sarcastic about papers, we treat corals like purebred dogs and cats.
Point is without a credible source and lineage you can not call them as such. If you go to sell you can say hey bought this as a green, looks like a hulk to me. You can not say this is a hulk and sell at a premium.

Or you can just have fun and buy and sell because you like it. Have fun and call it whatever you want.

This is true. I have a green torch and a hulk torch directly from POTO. I can sell the Hulk at a higher price than the regular green one if I wanted to because I can prove lineage on it, even though it looks nearly identical to my regular green torch. A lot of zoas are like this, all the zoa ID threads where I see WWC and CB zoas that someone bought unnamed from the pet shop really can't be sold as those morphs because you can't prove that they really are those morphs. If I find myself in that kind of situation I just say (for example) Twizzlers-ish. So the customer knows that I didnt get them from WWC but they look exactly like WWC Twizzlers and I'll sell them cheaper because I dont have a lineage on them. The worst is anemones though, because they morph so much from tank to tank.

Those are Aussie Torches. Greens, Golds, Purple with Gold Tips. I find the Australian Torch Tentacles never get to long, and they stay fat.,...

Definitely Aussie torches. Just wanted to know who named them what this month so I can see what they cost before someone else claims them in January For their own greed.
