Sorry I'm not able to get a clear shot of this but my 24k torch is not opening up and there is a little bit of rotting in the circled area. Any advice on what I should do? I have been battling dinos the last month and have been dosing silicates daily, no water changes and my tank looks ugly right now.

Calcium: 530
Alk: 8.5
Magnesium: 1450
Nitrates: 10
Phosphates: .2

Dip and get that into a new tank, if left , it’ll most likely not make it

Looks like in one your previous post, you said your phosphates were at 2, now they’re at .2? Doesn’t seem like your water quality is staying stable, that’s most likely why the torch is starting to recede. Torches are probably one of the most touchy lps, if water quality starts fluctuating up and down, your torch will be one of the first to perish.
