Hey I'm sure questions like this have been asked dozens of times but I have a few for yall. 1. This torch was in relatively rough shape when I purchased it a while back, 2/3 polyps show obvious signs of recession but don't seem to be ready to bail just yet. How does it look now? And does it have a chance to heal/ repair itself? 20210407_115358.jpg 20210407_115148.jpg 20210407_115213.jpg 20210407_115135.jpg

2. Are these mouths "gaping" and if so, what should I do about it?

3. Are these LPS / Euphilia too close to each other?

Purple w/ green tips is a 3.5 polyp torch
Yellow /green is a cristata that appears to be splitting
And the last is an itty bitty Frammer head I picked up at the same time as the torch.

Also, the green tip torch isnt as extended as he usually is because I just dipped him again and removed some sponge growing between the heads that were visibly encroaching on his polyps last night. Here is what he looked like then . 20210404_165729.jpg

1. Take pics with blues off, can’t really see anything
2. The mouth is fine
3. As long as the torch tentacles can’t reach the other euphyllia its fine

Thanks for the intel, pics were with blues on because it was in my normal cycle and didn't wanna tick any of my corals off for a picture. Here are some under less blue (sorry we just reached the end of the whites today)

The pics aren’t close enough to see any receding tissue. From what I can see, it all looks good.

Thank you both, I was just worried as I was under the impression that it was more primarily healthy if the meat/flesh wrap over the edge of the skeleton. Like this 20210407_182000.jpg

I’d watch for colors fading or if it doesn't open at all.
None of that, it's been as extended as it is in the recent pictures at a minimum (save the ones I took this morning as it was just redipped and messed with the night before)
