They will sting each other and one will eventually most likely kill the other, probably the galexia. Those things must pack a powerful sting from damage I have seen.

I have a Galaxia and it is in the middle of the empty sandbed in my 180g mixed tank - far far away from all other corals as the stinging tentacles can extend up to 8" or so. As for torches, i have several + frogspawn and hammers - i usually am ok with hammers touching hammers, torches touching torches but don't want to chance it having 2 different euphilia touching one another.

It really just depends on the type of torch.
If it’s Australian, the torch may sting the hammers/frogspawn, etc. it can be hit or miss.
It’s something you just need to monitor.
I had a larger hammer stinging another small hammer frag that I recently purchased.
I’m thinking the larger hammer is Aussie. sometimes, Aussies just seem to like going to war, lol!
Hammers and frogspawn are typically fine next to each other.
Typically, they are fine together but if one acts up, will need to move.
I should add, I don’t keep galaxia anymore.
Just seems like they string the **** out of everything and once they take off, can grow and spread like mad! At least the one I previously had did.

Ding Ding Ding Round 1

Torch Vs Galaxea Who will win?

In this corner we have the formiable Torch - 6"+ arm reach
In the other corner we have the mighty Galaxea - 6-12" reach

Who will win? lets watch and found out.

Put me down for Galexia winning haha.

To answer above, if you go into LFS many of them will have a Euphyllia tank with torches, hammers, and frogspawns all touching. I have them all close by and with in tenticle reach of eachother and havent had an issue. However that doesnt go to say that one day one may not get stung.

I was thinking of getting a beautiful Galaxia until I read up on their crazy long sweeper tentacles. Any issues with that?
