Ok so just found out another reason I love this skimmer.

Recently I saw from the digital airflow meter that my lph went down to around 2600. So I finally did something about it. Took out the volute and cleaned it and now I'm back to around 3400lph

Where did you get your airflow meter?

Hey Brandon that term is copyrighted :p

And yes I can't wait to get some poo in my water column. Been feeding every morning with some reef chilly and crushed pellets but corals are still pale.

At least I used it in your thread :p

They'll color up I'm sure.

Lolz.

I'm sure it will color up. Tanks definitely looks like a ULNS one. But with sprouts of hair algae from the extra food. : /

I'm sure it's looking better than mine, I'm about tired of seeing mine like this. Probably going to do the Chemi-Clean this weekend.

Oddly enough after all the losses I was really "meh" when it came to fishes. But my tank/corals needs some poo so I'm gonna take my time and restock. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited but if the corals would be ok without I would been fishless a while longer.
