For the last 8 months every ICP show a low Iodine and fluoride. I don’t have enough corals and I am not dosing enough balling.

I have a Red Sea 170 and I am doing daily automatic water change. I have quite a stable 7.5 dKh. I am just adding some 2.5ml carbonate (not enough trace3) because the 8dKh of the fresh salt water compensate part of the dosing…

What could I do? I was thinking to use multi elements B but I don’t have any calcium reactor… so I am thinking to add color elements red… but not so sure how should I proceed… any suggestion?

Thanks

Personally i wouldn't worry about it until you get more corals. If you know you're adding it, then obviously the corals are taking it in. If the corals don't look unhappy or anything, then there's no use in chasing those "recommended trace values". I understand wanting the most colorful and most vibrant corals but honestly I wouldn't worry about chasing numbers.

The hobby is really not that complicated, and I don’t get adding all that snake oil in your tank.

Maybe you can share more details about your tank, tank pic helps.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
