Post a pic and we will know for sure but white spots are usually ich (can be other things), copper is usually the go to treatment of ich but again other people will know better than I

Sweety, without knowing what your fish have, there isn't going to a be a good answer to your question. Pictures are very helpful, or at least a good description of what your seeing along with a time line of when the spots showed up and when the fish were last introduced to the tank ect. Shep is right though, the universal treatment is usually copper or CP, though neither of these things treats brook which can sometimes present as spots as well. Then again, there is Lymph which can look like ick at first but isn't lethal and doesn't require QT at all.

Post up a clear, close up picture or two and we will be happy to give you much better answers.

Which looks more like the white spots you are seeing on your fish?

ICH (LARGER WHITE SPOTS)

VELVET (SMALLER WHITE SPOTS)

Another way to tell: Usually if you can count the white spots on the fish its ich.

However, if they are too numerous to count (i.e. the fish is completely covered in white spots) there's a good chance you are dealing with velvet.
