My buddy gave me a tri-color that was browned out to try and get it back to the original color. I was wondering how long it will take to regain it's original form....the polyps r still green just the purple looks brownish. is there anything I can do to speed up the process? I spot feed it when I feed my tank.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about spot feeding. Just give it stable parameters and enough light and flow and you will do well.

Yep. It's a fairly easy one to take care of. Alk stability is key for the purple

Alrighty then...yea I did dip it and killed a couple amphipods but that was about it and other than that I'm keeping the parameters stable so that sounds like all she wrote, stability and time.
