Tri color wrasse missing.

Added a tri color wrasse on Saturday, he was swimming all around are well wasn't bothered by anyone. Come Monday it wasn' anywhere to be found , it's Tuesday and still missing in action. Is this normal ? Never had a wrasse do this

I had a mystery wrasse that got its time mixed up, and would go to bed when the lights came on. ended up changing my light schedule around him. I hope its something like that!

Tank is covered, but still looked .

My wrasses had a tendency to dive into the sand when I first got them, sometime they have not come out for a week plus, I’ve learnt to leave them to it and then it isn’t long before they are out and about, I wouldn’t worry too much

My wrasse ended up in my overflow one time. I had even checked in there while I was looking, and missed him the first time. The next day i found him. Double check everywhere!

Tri color wrasses don't bury in sand.

1/2" opening is all that is needed for a wrasse to jump out.

They frequently can jump in the overflow.

Anytime I introduce a wrasse to my DT I use a social acclimation box. Gives the other inhabitants the ability to check out the newcomer without bullying.
