I have an issue. My clowns host my clams instead of my nems. I got rid of the two croceas they were hosting to try to make them move to the nem. It did not work. I tried the photo of a clown in a nem for a few weeks and still did not work. Any other tricks out there?

What type of clown and what type of nem? Patience may be the key.
Dont ever force them.Not cool in my book.

Every time I have had this problem I have literally gotten both arms in the tank to scare the clowns into the nem. Once i have done that every time they have hosted within a few hrs. Good be the species though and the type of nem.

For me personally I have never felt that. If that was the case ever time they would have not hosted. I have 1 pair that has hosted for 5 yrs and the other pair in my cube for 6 months. Now they will not venture more then 10-12" ever from there host nems. All fat and happy and feed the nems also.
Wild Caught percs and a RBTA.
I don't see how removing the clams from them and taping a photo to the tank is forcing them in to a nem. If anything, I saved the clams and the clowns from an inevitable death clamp.
Feed the clowns right over the nem. That helps them to relize what it is. Don't try to scare them or catch them and put them in the nem. They will figure it out. Just bribe them with food.
I tried that before the nem decided to split. I figure in the down time of my trying to trick them in to the nem I would get some new ideas and advice. Then plan for it.

Well,each to their own,8 almost 9 years of clown keeping under my belt,and I feel that it is force.My pair of clownf venture all the way accross the tank from their anemone.They all venture off...they will venture off 2-3 meters in the wild from their host as well.Ive seen it.
Noone said anything about forcing the clowns towards the nems before you made your post about it being wrong to force them.
Anyway, any other tips besides sit and wait? I have been waiting for about a year now.
