I have two Trident ACM's and both give me test C fail. I have also had numerous exchanges with them over the years. Today I just received another Trident through the exchange program and already have another Test C fail Fault just hours after receiving it. I'm at my wits end with this Company. Do they not test them before sending them out. As with all of them I can run the multi tests without fail but whenever I try to Calibrate I get Test C fail every time. Before I bought this one I called Support and the person had no clue and was no help other than send it in for repair.
 
You're not alone in this experience. I also gave up on my unit after it was sent back twice for repair and still didn’t work correctly. I noticed they replaced all the internals; the old tubing looked discolored, while the new tubing appeared fresh, but unfortunately, it still didn’t function properly. Eventually, I decided to stop trying to use it altogether.
 
This one I just got also has a smaller pick up tube for the reagents. I got another test C fail today after a reset.
 
Leave the reagent bottles outside of the unit. You’re probably kinking the hoses
I have been doing that forever. Today I got another test C fail so I did another reset and was able to get a complete calibration. I'm trying a Alkalinity test now. I shouldn't have to deal with this on a Brand new refurbished unit.
 
I just got off the phone with a Neptune rep. I told them of the Calibration errors and of course they blame me for not waiting 24 hours. I'm not sure I believe that but maybe.

I am not blaming you - but you are one of the key components of error repeatability. Again, not saying you are at fault.

As to Neptune saying wait 24 hours, they are not wrong. The task to calibrate the Trident ACM states that it should only be used after it has run for 48 hours. This is to rule out any test anomalies or wide swings. You would have seen this when running the task so you probably already know this. It is also mentioned in the FAQ.

The new 6 month reagent packaging appears to use all of the same lot/batch numbers which is nice. It may reduce calibration. So far it has for me in my use case.

Anyway - just noting that Neptune's reply to you is not invalid. It may not fix your problem, but there is a reason for waiting and it is documented.
