Trident Bad ALK Readings

I'm having the same issue with my Trident. I stopped dosing and ran the Trident test three times with the same results. Any ideas will help.

I believe these can be calibrated
Have you confirmed reading with a reliable test kit?
Range would be 8-11 dkh

check calcium also which affects alk

Welcome Heinz! Glad you joined. Defer to others as unfamiliar with Trident. If you don't get answers in this Welcome area of Forum, there are other areas where others may be watching to answer specific Trident questions. In 'Meet and Greet' you'll find friendly folks (and some others may have Trident knowledge)

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Have you validated the Trident’s Alk reading with an independent test - like at LFS?

Welcome. I agree with the others, verify and calibrate. Frome my experience the ALK on my trident was the most reliable of the three.
