Sorry - that might have been a (I initially said it was - but I deny it now lol). straw man argument. But - I guess the point was - I dont test my MG even monthly - perhaps every 3 months. But hearing the explanation that @Terence has given - I admit there are benefits. My major hope is that the trident results in tests for PO4 and perhaps Nitrate. For example - if the product was designed as Alk, Ca, and PO4 - there would be no discussion.... Notwithstanding that it might be really really hard to do a PO4 test in this manner.. I think @Terence gave an exceptional explanation for the current 3...

It might be to protect the next Neptune item to come out. Someone can start a thread and have it get derailed several times along the way.

LOl as long as Neptune doesnt start the thread about what's under the grey area 2 years before its released. - Then no thread will be derailed - or? Im so tired of people saying asking when this is coming out - and the fanboys saying 'it doesnt matter - we will love it no matter what' - Key - imho - both have a point - the rumors were released too early - and people that criticize it might be just bitter for some reason.?
