Hey folks all of a sudden my trident says my alk jumped over to 11.8 from 8.6 however Hanna denies it and I don’t really see any reason for it either.

Anyone has seen this behavior before ? I am 100% sure it’s a trident problem - nothing has changed and my corals are doing what they do most of the days -

A customary 20% water change was done regardless also cos it’s Sunday

Yeap that’s the issue - reagent a was empty - just replaced it and let’s see where it lands -

My ca reactor is connected to the value so wouldn’t like alk to go down significantly

Yes , the issue was reagent as readings are back to 8.xx as of last night / this morning - thanks everyone
