Trident is testing away flawlessly.... Awesome being able to test for the 3 major reefing elements and having control with Apex!!

Does it provide a graph of some sort to see variations in value?

When do you think it will hit the market? LRS taking deposits first come first serve, say 3 months?

How loud is it while performing a test? Allowed to post a video of it running with the unit closed?

Forgive my ignorance, but after the Trident performs a test, can the Apex control a DŌS to get your levels to where you want them, or is the Trident simply a module to keep an eye on your parameters?

Well, let’s hope it makes it through the beta testing. I already spent the 2018 $$ allocated; I guess it’s fortunate to be 2019 LOL.

Not much info out there right now to make any type of conclusion. People have it in hand, but guess with NSI cannot do much to give out info. It was mentioned that the DOS should correct, but haven't seen anyone in NSI mention it does anywhere. Must not be available ATM. For something so simple (meaning that it'll also correct low values), you'd think that someone would just have come out and say "Yes, the Trident can correct any of the 3 measurements if you have the DOS".

In the video Neptune release saying they were sending the first few units out to testers they did confirm that you will be able to correct values (up to a certain point, to avoid over-correcting if something goes wrong) using a DOS once it is released to the public. I'm not sure that they've unlocked that functionality for the beta testers yet.

Not sure how one would adjust a CaRx automatically but dosing certainly could be tweaked. I used to run the OSC command with each dose running for two minutes alternating on 30 minute intervals. Could up that to 3 mins, or down to 1, based on trident reading. That’d be cool. I wouldn’t use constant dosing to hit a particular reading though.

The way I do mine is I just turn off power to the pump I have pulling from my reactor.

Best way to run a CaRx is to dial it in so that the CO2 and effluent stream run continuously. That seems like a step backwards. May be that there is no better way to 'control' a reactor and Trident just monitors and alerts for folks who use them.

1 way I can think of is to use a DOS to adjust for fluctuations. You then adjust the CaRx to bring it up/down to where it needs to be without the DOS having to top off.

Does anyone know the approximate price of entry?

I thought I heard somewhere around $600 - but please don't hold me to that. You would be better off consulting the Oracle or whatever the trending search engine is.

Yes, probably so. I do still have 2 part dosing capability (though the doser is not DOS) for gross adjustments to the CaRx when required. Could adjust the OSC duration based on trident test results,
