Wondering... Are there any issues running "prime sample" on the trident over and over.... In order to keep my alk steady... I strive to make sure the new make up water for water changes is close to the display alk.

I test alk with the trident on both the tank and the make up water..
Process I use is this... I make up the water - then take a glass of it and pull the sample line from the sump. drop it in the glass of sample water -- direct the trident in the fusion application to prime the sample..--> then direct it to run "combined test" -> I then tweak my alk depending on the results by adding some buffer or or acid buffer to lower it. --> new sample is then again used... but again... have to prime the sample line to make sure it is the new batch of water I am testing.. so I could end up running the prime 3 to 4 time in one day

When I am done...
