have a no water sample error and no test in 24 hr error.
i have done the following.

1. trident trouble shooting page was no help. IMO its kind lame on offering indepth help.
2. soaked the sample line in c-acid
3. checked and cleared the sample line and its connecter for blockages
4. clean the short sample line to the manifold
5. cleaned the sample line to the cuvert
6. Cleaned the cuvert
7. replaced the sample line with a new one.
8. confiirmed no blockages in the sample or waste line system all the way up to the manifold
9. primed and reset the water sample multiple times.
10. the tiny water sample pump is turning and is in motion (no water being put into he curvet tho) i recorded the trident for about 1.5hrs on my phone
11. restarted the trident multiple times
12. restore to factory default multiple times
13. primed all lines multiple times
14. unplugged it and let it set for a few days
15. updated the trident software

all these actions and i still no improvement. i finally deleted the trident, reinstalled it from scratch and updated the apex spfteware.
now i have test a failed error. i mean at least i did not get the no water sample error.... any ideas? im sure im missing something.

I have never used a Trident but it sounds like the metering pump (must have one to draw a sample) has failed. You have way more patients than I do. SOmeone on here must have been where you are before.

Bump for Trident support.

Send a ticket into Neptune support if you haven't already done so.

fixed it.
the manfold had what i assume to be salt creep or build up inside it. i removed it, used a very small needle to check for a internal blockage and sure enough the needle would not pass thru the sampe port or the waste port freely like it would thru the reagent ports, so i gently pocked around and soaked it in citric acid. and boom junk came out and the water sample now primes and fills the curvette.
