Please help. Does anyone know how to fix my trident. It keeps saying no water sample. The black tube is in the sump. I’m afraid to disconnect the black tube bec it might break. Should I take the top off and remove it.

First step would be to remove the filter if you're using it from the sample line a see if water will pass. Second step is to disconnect the black tube and see if you can pass water. Its super flexible so I wouldn't worry about breaking it, even if you do BRS sells them for $10.

Black tube is probably clogged. What I do is remove from back and take something to act like a rolling pin and run it over the tube to squeeze out whatever is stuck in the tube. You will be amazed on what comes out when you do this. Once done replace and you should be fine.

I unplugged the black line and shot water through it. It was clogged and brown stuff came out. I accidentally put a small hole in the line with a needle. I plugged it back in and it’s still saying no water sample

If you emptied the line during cleaning, I will take a bit to refill it. Best thing to do is run “prime sample” a few times to see if that clears it.

I am also having trouble getting the screw out of the bottom of the trident to take it apart. I just unplugged the black line from the back
