Quick question about trimming. When a piece is trimmed off the colony will the tip on the colony were the cut was made continue to grow as it did before, or will it stop lengthening on that branch line?

In most cases, continue to grow once the cut has healed.

Most the areas I trim tend to outpace the ones I don’t trim

I believe he means with corals that are stressed, unhealthy, or just not happy will have issues if fragged or trimmed. Where as healthy corals will grow quickly after trimmed.
