Quick question about trimming. When a piece is trimmed off the colony will the tip on the colony were the cut was made continue to grow as it did before, or will it stop lengthening on that branch line?

If the coral is old-timer and feels at home, then in this place it will grow even faster. Otherwise, fouling will start at the cut site.
