Hey All, I am new to the triton method (and reef keeping). I bought a second hand tank that came with a nitrate bioreactor, so i switched it on during my cycling, noticed that my cheato did not grow that well in the refugium. Tank parameters look great with triton, but now wondering if i should switch off the bioreactor and let the cheato grow, concern is that i now have fish and corals in the DT. Should i just switch off the nitrate reactor and monitor the nitrates hoping that the cheato will absorb all the nitrates?
