I have an Mp40 who's propeller is not spinning.

I replaced the wetside today, but that did not solve the problem.

You can hear a slight hum from the transformer (ac/dc adapter), but the impeller does not spin. The controller lights do light up but it cycles through the various modes not allowing me to select one.

I have tried resetting it, but it still scrolls through the modes after returning to green for a brief few seconds.

Any advice for me?

Couple suggestions and trying to gather additional information. To get an idea of the pumps age and capabilities MP40, MP40WES or MP40QD?

Are you manually running the MP40? Or is is controlled by an Apex with WXM, or EcoTech's controller (forget the name)

Do you feel the motor in the dryside moving? Possible the motor, controller, or power supply failed. If you have spares of any, it is worth swapping pieces around to see if anything changes.

Just to illustrate why you might still want to check the PSU. I've had power supplies fail on Jeabo pumps where the controller was lit and showing set to X speed. But the pump was constantly starting and stopping due to a failed power supply.

Manual. Just setting up new tank after a 5 month break. MP40 is plugged into the wall.

MP40 QD

Dryside not moving, just the controller is lit up.

The PSU does have the tiniest whine to it.

Thanks for the help.
