True Bali Green Slimer?

I bought a frag and was told it was a true Bali Green Slimer. It has been in my tank for a bit and it doesn't look like other Green Slimer pictures I see online.

The lights are just coming on so there is only some PE. Hopefully seeing the tissue and polyps will help with the ID.

Can anyone confirm what this is?

I can get another picture with full PE if that helps.

How long have you had It? Looks kinda brown to me. A bali green slimer looks like this...
Look at the composition. Yours could be but needs to color up. What are your tanks parameters and are they 100% stable? Do you have ANY other SPS that are or supposed to be green? You may be lacking some iron if not.

My parameters are fairly stable. I have had the piece for maybe a month. It was definitely greener in the tank I bought it from. I have a couple other green corals that are actually green. Maybe the color Will return with time?

I'm not sure of the technical terms, but the branch of my piece is smooth (except for the top bit), whereas other green slimers I see have bumps along the branch where the polyps come out of. Does my explanation make sense?

Yes most SPS take awhile to get happy in a new tank. Some can take two weeks While others can take months and months. As far as its composition being smooth you are correct that does not sound like a Slimer they have bumpy Coralites and loaded with hairy looking polyps which are also green. Does it get slimy when you touch it or bump into it? You can visibly see it after a minute when you touch them. Yours is definitely an Acro of sorts you just might have to wait a while before we can be sure of which one it is.

Now back to color issues with it that can come with time yes. But also your parameters are probably different than the tank it was used to and possibly your lighting as well. The coloring could have something to do with the placement you have it in. Or maybe it's something as simple as needing some amino acids since your other SPS that you have are green.

It does look as fluffy as a slimer should be, so maybe just give it time and see what happens.

It’s smooth because it was probably cut off a lower branch of a large colony, might explain the color not being as vibrant. Hopefully it perks up for you.

I’m surprised no one around you has it. If I had to choose an all green acro like this, I’d go lime in the sky instead.

It’s about to 14 months from the first 2.5” to present day 10”tall x 5”wide at least. It didn’t really start look right until got larger had more mass even now it has a lot more advantageous outward growth to form a somewhat circular mass. The last 4 months the growths be overdrive!

The reason I asked is cause it appears to be in a shady area , the led light should make the green pop
