Almost bought some today at our local reef club conference. Seller did indicate they were slow growing, but I'm sure like everything else, it's system (tank) dependent.

I bought mine as a single polyp and within the first week it grew 2 baby bumps but 1 month later they haven't shown skirts or anything. Definetely a must have zoa.

Mine grow rapidly doubling about every month or 2. The problem for me has been fragging. I generally lose about 20-30% when I frag them. Otherwise Ive noticed they are more hardy than most other zoas that I have.

I had a small colony of these the entire time my tank was running. At first they grew okay and I was able to take a frag fairly often. But, towards the end of my tank's life they stopped growing completely and stayed at just 3 polyps for many many months. They are hardy though

I said the same after getting these and speckled kraks, but I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to zoas. I have close to 100 different polyps now.
