UNIQUE reef fish for 42gal.

Hey guys! Been in the hobby for about a decade now and have done all kinds of cool oddball from breeding dwarf seahorses(h. Zosterae), to mantis shrimp (gonodactilis chiragra), to wartskin frog fish etc..
Im setting up a new 42 gallon reef and want some ideas for some smaller but UNIQUE oddballs. Preferably peaceful.
Love gulf signal blennies but cant find them anywhere, pike blennies are an option too. But just wanted to see what's out there that I may not have come across.

This may be quite far out but have you ever considered a smaller dwarf angel? Something like the Venusta or Multibar - both of which can be captive bred and are often around 1 inch if that.

I have i just think the tank is still a bit small for a full grown dwarf angel and im not in a situation where ill be able to upgrade to a larger tank in the foreseeable future.

I do like pipefish, but I already have clowns and theyre pretty slow eaters and I work long hours so I wouldn't be home to target feed throughout the day and ensure they get food before the clowns take it all.

Look at the Doryrhamphus, Corioichthys and Dactyliophorus genera of pipes - I have them with tangs, dragonets and rabbits with no issues.

How about orange spotted filefish, multibanded pipefish, or red spot glass cardinal?
