I have a good size trumpet coral colony that I have a buyer interested in. I old him I’d frag 4-5 frags for $35. He asked a price for the entire colony…I’m completely unsure of how to price this lol. Anyone want to share what they have/would pay for a piece this size it’d be greatly appreciated!!

Well, I wonder if you want to part with the whole thing, or would take a head for keeping that maroon clownfish happy (it seems attached) and then I'd ask at least $125.00, or more if I really didn't want to part with it?

Sad thing is that many folks would buy it and resell it, making their money back and more and keeping that 4-5 head frag for no money out of their pocket. So lots to consider, I donated my Duncans many years ago and don't miss them really. What do you want in the end? GL HTH. 🙃

I paid 6 dollars a head for mine from my local fish store. Thats a beautiful colony. I’d be keeping it. Stunning. And that clownfish agrees lol

Its a beautiful colony! I'de frag one polyp and ask for a $100 and enjoy watching my one polyp grow into a colony again. The colonies are nice but eventually grow too big and need maintenance, plus I love growing one polyp into a colony. Good luck with your choice.

That’s what I’ve been thinking. Frag it and sell but still have to think about it. It’s a 15 gal tank so keeping colonies small is ideal.
