My theory is that the live rock from the ocean contains enough “good” or at least “neutral” bacteria to displace the kind that likely attacks corals. Pretty sure RTN and STN are due to bad bacteria infections…
Straight over my head but I believe you big dog

😂 not rich but I said let me put $400 in a test. Because everyone says NO SPS until 6 months.
So I said let me see if that’s true or not.
WD, HW doing well. Other one died
+1 Pics.

Again this is a test … I didn’t claim I’m an expert and it work 100%
Like I said so far 1 dead and 2 alive. I’m at work now and I’ll post a picture and also update daily … like I said this might not work and if they die then the 6 months wait probably is the way.

at minimum dose bacteria, I like the rock work and it’s set up nice for acros- the fox flame is the most tolerant of the 3 so odds are stacked against you. Once your tank is stable, a WD and HW are solid, stable choices that get great color under the right condition. Even if they survive, they likely won’t thrive until after 1yr.

I admire your willingness to experiment!

It is high probability the WD and HW will die if/when the Dino’s come. Fox Flame is very hearty so that may survive the coming months. I hope all the frags find a way to survive!

You can definitely add SPS day one of a tank but you typically need some live rock for that tow rock (or so it is assumed!)

I think he said the foxflame is dead, but the others are going well?
