I am new to keeping saltwater and done all my cycling etc and added cuc etc and added 2 clowns and a sunset damsel had the clowns for about 1 month and damsel for around 1 week. Tank is all sitting with good readings and started with brown rusted looking algae and I know that's common in new tanks then it started tinting purple in parts but now theres a thin layer in small parts of my ceramic rock any ideas????

I agree I got diatoms and eventually when the die off whatever didnt get brushed off and takin out turns into cyano. If its alot I would siphon it out or in my case my snails are getting rid of it.
