I've been lied to all this time..LOL.

Eagle Eyes.

IMO eagle eyes and whammin watermelons pretty much the same thing.
But when the whammin watermelon name came out, it was usually reserved for the deeper color polyps, and again it's just my opinion, a way to charge more.

I've got a single Dragon eye in the middle of my colony too!

Thank you for this thread! Finally it's being acknowledge that the same corals are sold under different names at completely different prices depending on who the SELLER is. I love the exclusives or new releases.

Jumping in added to the fun. These are my eagle eyes. Had them forever. They grow like weeds for me I couldn’t even give these away for free when I had a ton. LOL!

These are my eagles eyes that i got around 2002 - 2004. It's been a long time and this photo was under halides.

Agreed, these were my eagle eyes back in the day. Let's just all agree that the OP's zoas are Eagle Radioactive Dragon watermelon eyes zoas.

These are my "watermelons"... got a few morphs in there as well.

To me the name is just superficial. If I see something I like I buy it. I do not care if it is a super special eagle watermelon radioactive eye ball or not. It just happens that the prettier ones have names.

Ya'll are destroying years of delusions here! I don't guess I've ever seen real Eagle Eyes. They must not be as common as I thought!

So what are these? (Ignore the algae ridden bivalve....I kind of like him there)

It’s like Green Bay packers and Miami hurricane, which is which? But eyes have bright green skirts and nobody can change my mind. Yellow zoas are never free lol.
