Tsunami AT1, a temp unit. Feedback on the unit?

Has anyone heard of this old style of auto top off unit,Tsunami AT1. Seems to be a very simple ATO with minimal parts to go wrong. It has a tube with an 1/8 hose on the top of it that goes in the sump then going to a small black box with and outlet from the RO/DI pump and a cord to plug it in. Water level goes down and the tube senses the less water then activates the pump. I have an Aquahub top off kit that's been giving me a few problems after 6 months of use which needs to be re-evaluated, either the 12v relay partially burnt out or the float switches have failed. The Tsunami is temporarily installed. I bought it at a yard sale find for about $3. So I'm going to keep my eye on this unit to see how it holds up. BTW I'm not using the suction cups to mount it to the glass in the sump. Instead I tywrapped to the slotted barrier used to seperate the sump sections. If I like it then I'll build an adjustable acrylic bracket to hold it in place. I just don't have a backup secondary float switch to prevent an overflow......ugh.

I have a brand new one I dont use with an octopus pump that I never took out of the box. I was going to use it and well it never "fruited" into use cause of no room behind my couch cause my wife made me put a shelving unit there. Though I have an idea that might allow me to use it. Just have to take the time to get some Ro/DI water from work lol.
