Why is it stetched out and it is putting one slime stuff on the sand ?

The foot needs to be buried in the sand. I’m assuming it was laying on top of the sand and the slime was it’s attempt to collect sand and make a tube.

Sandbed doesnt look very deep...

No light required...if the sand is not deep enough u can use a big enough piece of PVC to secure his foot in.
