I just returned from the Tunze HQ here in Penzberg. They indeed have Comline filters with a heater slot, model number 3162 and 3163, which are smaller than the 3168. Think I have a 3162 somewhere lying around at home. If you need to know the dimensions of the heater slot I can tell you in the evening.

I'm building a little 46 bowfront tank for my kids room. It's not drilled and not a big deal. I'm gonna be running a tunze 9004 DC skimmer and 3168 comline filter. My question is can I still put the heater in the 3168 if I'm using the osmolator inside the filter and if so what heaters will fit inside this I believe I read the titanium brs heaters are to big. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Glad you joined. Deferring to others on heater question, but know there are small cheap ones at Petco as that is what I use in my 5g QT.
