I'm building a little 46 bowfront tank for my kids room. It's not drilled and not a big deal. I'm gonna be running a tunze 9004 DC skimmer and 3168 comline filter. My question is can I still put the heater in the 3168 if I'm using the osmolator inside the filter and if so what heaters will fit inside this I believe I read the titanium brs heaters are to big. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to Reef2Reef! This is a great place for answers. Unfortunately I don't have the answer to this one, but other people will chime in.
you're welcome love GIF

Will you have a sump? Don’t think you should put heater in 3168 comline filter. Even if you did probably won’t be effective at keeping temps steady.

No sump and the comline internal filters have a spot built in them for the heater but I'm having trouble finding one. I'm 90% sure this is the filter with the chamber for heater

I run a Tunze 3168 filter along with a 9012 skimmer in a 50 cm / 30 g cube. Two Eheim Jäger heaters are placed separately, and i see no chance to insert one of them into the filter. Sure, there is a vertical duct, which however leads water from the downside suction tube up above the filter media towards the inlet at the surface.
