Tunze 9410 Loud

I have a Tunze 9410 skimmer on an aquarium that I moved from a laundry room to a living room. The skimmer is loud which never bothered me before but does now. Anyone have ideas on how to make it quiet? I do not have the collection arm or cup on the side it was useless.

I would contract Roger from Tunze there is a batch of bad pumps, I had the same problem.
