My Tunze ATO has stopped working after 5 years........bummer.

I checked the output voltage on the power supply and I’m only getting 7.5 vdc.
Should be 12 vdc.

so I’m pretty sure that’s the problem. Anyone else want to chime in?

Is that voltage with no load. Usually something takes out the power supply. Does the pump spin at all or is it just nothing, maybe a hum. But it looks like it is time for a new ato.

That’s no load, pump unplugged. No hum or nothing.

What else is odd is my UV is out as well. Just replaced the bulb a few months ago. Both ATO and UV are plugged into the same switched power strip. No other issues with any other equipment.

Sounds likely that it is the problem. Have you tried cleaning the connector to make sure it isn't corrosion causing resistance?

Yes I did clean it and also tested voltage at the male / female connector as well.

used my trusty Fluke 77
