This issue generally goes away if I power cycle the unit, but in a couple days it will stop topping off the tank.

Last night when I power cycled it, it came on, turned the pump on for about 15 seconds, and then stopped, even though the tank never remotely was back up to the sensor / full.

What model is it? From the description I assume a 3155? This would be an optic sensor issue, either the sensor is dirty, blinded by an infrared light source (growlight or another optic sensor) or it has failed. I would make sure it is shiny clean on all sides, typically every 6 months they need a 30-60 minute soak in vinegar to descale. The sensor is a replaceable part and we do have them in stock.
