I got a single turbo snail last Saturday and he has retracted into his shell. I thought this was normal because it was a new environment but he seems stuck and can't get out of his shell. I can see him trying but he can't "unfold" out of his shell. He has flipped over twice since I put him in and I fixed him once I saw it. I just let him be to see if he can figure it out himself but he can't seem to get out of his shell. What is happening? Is he going to be alright?

As far as the shell goes he shouldn't have any trouble maneuvering inside it. As far as flipping over guy at sustainable yesterday said they can flip themselves back over although I've never seen any of mine do it. At the same time I haven't found any dead ones either. Hope this helps.
