Could be. Sometimes like was mentioned above, they are the wrong ones. Mexican turbos are from cooler water and have a hard time above 78. Or maybe you have some contaminate? Hard to say that though, i would think all the inverts would be showing stress, but you never know. If that is a worry chuck in a 'polyfilter'. Quotes to make sure to specify the name brand one that is supposed to pull metals and other gunk.
Thanks for the advice

I had all my snails slowly die off with plenty of algae present. Did an icp test and tin and copper are sky high, the pump I use to mix saltwater was shorting into the water. I would have your water tested, all sorts of bad stuff can end up in our tanks and snails can be sensitive to certain metals.

Last CUC I purchased, I lost 4 of the 5 turbos. 10 of the 10 trochus survived and 4 of the Astrea survived.. and I do a 6 hour slow drip acclimation. I just think turbos are snowflakes… I won’t buy them anymore. Trochus are my favourite, as they can right themselves if they need to.

Same here. I bought 5 orange turbos total, 3 in one shipment and 2 in the following shipment, all died within days. They came from online seller. Trochius, bumblebees, dove snails are all fine.
Also a Florida certh in there 4 yrs and doing great, it’s a workhorse

My turbo snails die pretty quickly too so it's nothing you are doing. Maybe try some zebra turbos, I seem to have better luck with them than the standard mexican turbos. The zebras I have now are going on several months without issue.

It's kind of comical, most of my snails migrate over the top of the overflow weir and into the overflow chamber, I can take them out and place them back into the tank and by the next morning they have migrated back into the overflow chamber again, so just leave them in there until I really need them in the tank.

Nobody has asked yet, so I will….what is your acclimation process?

Are you testing salinity of the bag and gradually bringing it up or down to match the DT?

I have read that inverts can be more sensitive to salinity changes, therefore, drip acclimation is suggested.

ATTENTION. At the end of the video, the presenter does not advocate for longer QT for inverts, becasue they are not susceptible to fish diseases. The video is 6 years old and I think the more recent guidance is that they can carry disease into your tank via their shell. Best practice is suggested as a 6 week QT with no Fish present.

Just fwiw info…..
I have not documented snail longevity but I am pretty certain the zebra and checkered turbos live longer than the Mexicans, they also grow larger…
Also the very large “Turban” / trochus type snails with a “top down” spiral have relatively longer lives vs standard turbos
