So I wouldn't call this a build thread. It's more like a prebuild build.
Tank is a well used 30g had this for a few years has gone through a few changes
Tidal 110 because it's not drillable
300w heater on inkbird
21" blade grow
Jebao wave maker really small one (don't remember the model)
Reef crystals salt
7 stage rodi
Weekly 8g water change
pH 8.3 ish don't have controller to see swings but weekly test has it at 8.2 on wc day
Alk typically 9.8
1.026
Haven't tested calc or mag
Been up and running since end of Feb.
Live rock from lfs
Seeded media from lfs
Caribsea live black sand.
Corals
3 torches
3 hammers
2 Duncan's
Few zoas
3 polyp frag of palythoa grandis
Blasto
5 rfas
Photosynthetic gorg
Fish
Angler and from time to time a couple well fed guppies
also fed on San Francisco silversides which it will not accept if any selcon or vitachem has been added to it.

I just got my 80g cube wet and cycling all the marco rock in it. Couple weeks everything will move over. Really need the space.

Im thinking yes...now. It was going to be his tank but his fat butt sits on all my corals. I made a 75g sump with a 20x18 fuge.

That's a really nice looking tank, I can only imagine how nice the 80g will end up looking! Any pics of it so far, what are the dims on an 80g cube? It's drilled I guess?

Cube Build - 20's 80ish cube

So I have two tanks I was debating on which to set up once I knew my return to the hobby was going to work out. My goal was to set up my standard 180g, But I also have a 28x28x24" cube around 80g. Both tanks have been used in the past for fresh water. The 180 was only used at my old house which...

The Blades are really nice big change to what I was used to 14 years ago. I really like Kessils I have 3 160 tuna suns over my 125 fahaka tank. Was really torn on the cube build was thinking about the ap9x but at $800 I was wishy washy.

If you're able to put your camera in manual or pro mode, try adjusting the white balance up as close to 10k as you can. Some post editing (lowering blue, adjusting tint, etc) may get you even closer but the white balance is the biggest thing you can do.

Phone so no pro or manual that I know of. I look into it. I have an older dslr somewhere I may try to mess with that a bit.
